Service Engineer

What makes your everyday life at BUCHI exciting?

• Provide customers with exceptional support through diagnosis of problems and a recommendation of options to solve the problem, such as maintenance or repair
• Perform installations, operational verifications, IQ/OQ, basic operational training, calibration, maintenance and repairs of all BUCHI instruments as well as other defined services
• Utilize schematic diagrams, electronic test equipment, hand tools and scientific concepts to support customers and to address the performance of BUCHI instruments
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to create service cases, submit tasks, and generate service reports as well as other defined requirements for CRM utilization
• Create and maintain good communications between current and prospective customers, field sales force, marketing teams, and corporate headquarters personnel

What skills do you need to bring to BUCHI?

• 2+ years in-house or field service experience in the scientific instrumentation market
• BS degree in Chemistry or related science or associates Degree in Electronics Technology or technical discipline
• Strong organizational/time management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• High functional level in MS-Office programs; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
